Did you know your body has the ability to heal itself? Here at Dr. Tolmos' office patients have found the secret to unlocking their own healing potential. We are all stressed in different ways but we are all tied together by the way the body reacts to stress. How many times have you heard that a symptom is "stress related"? All symptoms arise from stress, however there are many different types. Stress whether it is a trauma, toxin, or thought, interferes with your ability to heal.

Our specialty is the removal of this interference through chiropractic adjustments to the upper cervical area. The top bone of your neck, or your atlas, is form-fitted around your brainstem. This is where stress can begin to affect your body's natural ability to heal. With the invention of cell phones and computers our posture is usually sacrificed for school work, business interaction, text message communication, and mostly entertainment. When you combine these repetitive micro-traumas with the stress we all experience on a daily basis, it spells bad news for our spines. The entire spine will react to the position of the atlas.
